Plan Your Trip

are you getting ready but you’re taking your time?

Check out our Bajaja trip planning tips below ⬇️

1   CHOOSE YOUR DATES

Choose your dates, and then decide on your crew!

Rally your old school show going crew, or today's friends, let's get the band back together! Celebrate a big birthday, college reunion, festival fun with family and kiddos or no kiddos. Or come solo and meet your kind of people next to the ocean.

The music starts the Thursday after Thanksgiving, the concert dates are 11/30, 12/1, and 12/2. We suggest arriving at least one day before, and leaving no sooner than Sunday.

There’s so much to see and do on the BCS peninsula, consider making a longer trip of it! Tell your friends about the BAJAJA 📬

3   SECURE LODGING

While car rentals give you more flexibility to see the area, note the roads are not paved, not well lit at night, and do not always jive with Google Maps!

On concert days, while there will be limited parking at the venue, we recommend using our local Shuttle option, driven by sober professionals who know the area. Ubers and cabs are not available by the beach, also there are private shuttles that can take you back to a rental house.

He is a super fun guide ⇒ Danio Petrucci

SURFING

Surfing Cerritos is a must while visiting us in El Pescadero. It is one of the best waves in Baja California Sur, for beginners and the experienced alike. Jibran from Get Stoked is a great Surfer, Instructor and Human ⇒ Get Stoked Surf School

Sea of Cortez BOAT TOUR

Espiritu Santo, or "Holy Spirit Island" is a gorgeous island a few kilometers off the coast of Baja Sur’s capital La Paz on the Sea of Cortez. The island’s many blue water coves, and outlying islands are home to tons of marine life. Jacques Cousteau called the Sea of Cortez, “The Aquarium of the World.”

Baco Adventure Co has a myriad of options to explore this wonderful island for every budget.  Its crystal blue waters and white sands are sure to allure you, and you might even hear the siren song of La Paz.

FISHING

Baja Sur fishing is world renowned. Why not head out on the Pacific and catch some fresh dorado, pargo, or huachinango with the collectivo of a decades old fishing fleet, on a classic Mexican Panga. These guys know where the fish are. Maybe even cook your catch at your condo/house, or bring it into one of the restaurants and have the local chefs cook it up for you and your group ⇒ Punta Lobos Fishing Charters

ATVs / Dune Buggies

Baja and its Baja 1000 race have inspired a culture of back desert exploration.  Renting one of these side by sides, atvs or dune buggies will give you this experience of exploring the backcountry and tearing through the desert on a self guided tour of your own.  Go by yourself or get a crew together for a mini rally with your pals! ⇒ Baja Rock Pirates
